This four-piece outfit from Sendai, in Miyagi prefecture, is made up of YOMI on lead vocal, SAKITO and HITSUGI on their respective guitars, bassist Ni~ya and RUKA on drums.

Formed in 2000 when most of the members were still in high school, the team has made their way to the forefront of the visual-kei scene in just over a decade of rocking out. Since releasing their debut single, “Believe,” they have been receiving more and more exposure outside of the visual scene, even having their tunes “The World” and “Alumina” used in the massively popular “Death Note” anime series.

The band, being from the disaster-stricken Northeastern Tohoku region of Japan, were led in a new direction after the 3.11 earthquake and tsunami, when Sendai was ravaged by the double-disaster. After already being noted for charity work after another quake back in 2008 – that time in their actual hometown of Iwate-Miyagi Nairiku – the crew put together a charity gig in Tokyo to raise funds once more for their home prefecture.

So don’t let the name fool you, this band is one nightmare you’ll want to have over and over again.
